We did a bit of gardening over the weekend. Planted a bed of greens and veggies. D put in some greens several weeks back which are already nearly an inch tall - should do well if we can keep the snails from eating everything.

General consensus is likely, that there's some kind of scandal that she's trying to dodge. Or it's likely that all this campaigning was just cutting into her mani-pedi/harmless animal hunting time.

Either way, this photoshoot clinched my decision to get David a subscription to 'Runners World Magazine'

I'm back from 4 days in New York! We went for the Open video conference, or rather, David did, and I spent my time wandering around reconnecting with friends and learning the subway system.

We also ate insanely amazing vegetarian Korean food on my birthday, and saw an award winning musical which we thought was really, really bad. Skip 'Next to Normal' and proceed straight to 'Avenue Q' if you want to be entertained by cleverness.

I'm very honored to have my photograph 'Cyd Suspended' chosen for inclusion in this years 'Fresh Meat in the Gallery' installation, as part of the Queer Arts Festival. The excellent rigging and ropework is by Lex Young.

The show opens on Sat, June 6 from 6-9pm and is FREE! I hope to see some friendly faces there.

For the longest time the most irritating thing about our state was how everyone overused the words 'dude' and 'like'.

You guys have overcome the limitations of bad grammar and Paris Hilton and taken it to a whole new level today by upholding discrimination the likes of which is rapidly going out of style all over the world, in progressive, forward thinking places. You know, like Maine.
